Fruits and Ayurveda


In Ayurveda it is recommended to eat fruit in empty stomach or before a meal and also recommended to eat the whole fruit rather than drinking fruit juice . Because if you eat fruit  after a meal fruit is prevented from digesting as it is blocked by by other food that  you consumed prior to eat fruit .Then the fruit turn out to be juice and come into contact with other food and turn it to acid . But if you eat empty stomach it plays a major role in detoxify your system.
